In 2018 I visited Uncle Pete and Auntie Dorothy for a few days.  As always I was welcomed with open arms. Of course we did our obligatory walk around the garden which looked as wonderful as ever.  Raised beds full of veggies, an ingenious compost system, Mum and Dad's plough and Uncle Pete's pride and joy - his birds.

Together we visited antiques centres, strolled along Hornsea front and posed for a photo at Bempton Church. Uncle Pete was someone who was always happy to help and even agreed to take me on a tour to find my 'doors', stopping the car while I took photos.

The highlight for me was the making of a home video to capture the chiming of Uncle Pete's clocks. We had a real laugh rushing around the house together (I still have copy of the video I think).

Pete will be sorely missed. Thanks for your support, wonderful sense of humour and honesty.
